- Schedule and prepare for Learning Gap Audits, tutoring discussions or program registrations.
- Maintain records of parent communication and service interest.
- Send relevant administrative updates about a course, consultation, waitlist or tutoring service.

- Comply with legal, safety, recordkeeping and operational requirements.
Email, Consent and CASL
Jarvis Institute aims to follow Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) when sending commercial electronic messages to parents and guardians in Canada.
- We will use email to contact parents about inquiries, consultations, registration, waitlists, tutoring services and related updates.
- Where required, we will seek consent before sending promotional or commercial electronic messages.
- Commercial electronic messages from Jarvis Institute will identify Jarvis Institute and include contact information.
- Commercial electronic messages will include a way to unsubscribe or tell us you no longer want to receive those messages.
- We will process unsubscribe requests as soon as practical and no later than 10 business days after receiving the request.
Parents may still receive necessary administrative or service-related messages, such as replies to an inquiry, scheduling details, registration updates or information needed to deliver a requested service.
Record Retention
We keep parent contact information and inquiry records for up to 2 years from the last meaningful interaction, unless a longer period is required or permitted for legal, accounting, safety, dispute resolution or operational reasons.
After that period, we will delete, anonymize or securely archive the information where practical.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No website, email system or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, so families should avoid sending highly sensitive information through general website forms.
Your Choices and Requests
Parents and guardians may contact us to request access to, correction of or deletion of their information, subject to reasonable identity verification and any legal or operational limits.
You may also ask us to stop sending promotional emails. Each commercial electronic message should include an unsubscribe method, and you can also contact us directly.
Children’s Information
Our website and inquiry forms are intended for parents and guardians. We do not knowingly ask children to submit personal information through the website. Parents should complete forms on behalf of their child.
